My Story To Becoming A Writer
I never set out to be a writer—it all started with a bet. Could I write a novel in three months? Challenge accepted. What began as a playful test of creativity quickly became a passion I couldn’t ignore. I finished my first book, loved the process, and didn’t stop there. That novel turned into a series—the Rising Tide trilogy—setting me on a path I never expected but now can’t imagine living without.
At the heart of my stories is something deeply personal. I named my protagonist after my only daughter, Claire, wanting to create a world that she could one day step into, a story that would always be hers. As a single mother, everything I do is for her, and writing has become not just an escape, but a legacy—a way to build something lasting, something magical, just for her.
Beyond storytelling, my passion for Near Eastern studies, mythology, and religious history fuels my imagination. I’ve always been fascinated by the legends, myths, and belief systems that have shaped cultures for centuries. That love for the ancient world breathes life into my novels, where history and fantasy intertwine, and where forbidden love, destiny, and power struggles play out on an epic scale.
When I’m not writing, you’ll find me traveling, painting, or spending time with my little family—Claire, our two mischievous Goldendoodles, and our wild Bengal cat. Life is an adventure, both on and off the page, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

A Love for Traveling

Collecting Antiques
